2019 Lerner Graduate Convocation

This cap-and-gown ceremony will take place on Friday, May 31st in Carpenter Sports Building (CSB) Gym 2 at 6:00 PM, with a reception to follow in Trabant Student Center. All guests (but not graduates) will need to present their printed paper tickets at the doors of each event. The graduate's cap and gown is their ticket into both events.

Graduates must reserve a Graduate ticket simply so we know how many seats/gifts to reserve for the graduates at the ceremony.

All tickets are e-tickets. The email confirmation you receive once you've ordered tickets will contain printable tickets. You must print your own; we aren't able to reproduce them for you.

Friends and family are welcome to attend this event, but students will be limited to three (3) guest tickets until Monday, May 6th. All remaining tickets will be released at Noon on Monday, May 6th, and students can then request more tickets. The tickets are free of charge. We reserve the right to restrict the number of additional tickets that students can order and will make that determination as we approach May 6th.

You can register for 1 graduate ticket for the ceremony, 3 guest tickets for the ceremony and 4 reception tickets (1 graduate + 3 guests).

At this event, Graduates will be individually recognized, and awards will be presented to candidates from each of the Lerner College graduate degree programs. Spring graduates receive their diplomas via US Surface Mail in mid-July; Summer grads receive theirs in late September.

If you plan to finish in the Summer, and wish to participate in Commencement exercises, you are welcome to do so. Since no degrees are presented at graduation, any student may participate. As long as you are dressed in the appropriate academic regalia at the appointed hour, you will be able to walk through the ceremony.
